First Annual PM Excellence Awards Deadline is September 17th

The top project recognized at PMI-NAC's inaugural Project Management Excellence Award Ceremony will also be submitted as a candidate for worldwide recognition in an October 2011 PMI Global event.

Do you want to recognize and honor your leading Projects and Project Managers? The Project Management Institute - North Alabama Chapter (PMI-NAC) invites you to sponsor individual Project Managers and nominate Projects that will be recognized during the PMI-NAC 2010 Project Management Excellence Award Ceremony to be held on November 12, 2010 at the Jackson Center in Cummings Research Park. Projects and Project Managers will be recognized for their superior performance and contributions to the Project Management profession.
The 2010 Project Manager Excellence Awards will recognize individuals who are committed to the best practices in project management and exemplify qualities of an excellent Project Manager. All Project Managers who are sponsored will be recognized, receive an award plaque, a $100 gift card to Bridge Street Town Center and two dinner tickets to the ceremony. The sponsorship fee for each Project Manager submission is $250.
The 2010 Industry Excellence Awards will recognize Projects that have shown superior application of project management principles and techniques, been completed on or ahead of schedule, within budget and scope, and meet or exceed the stated project objectives. Industry categories will include Commercial, Government, and Non-Profit. The three selected Industry Excellence Awardees will be recognized, receive an award plaque, two dinner tickets to the award ceremony and a submission to a local publication.
Among the submittals for the Industry Awards, one Project will be selected for the 2010 Project Excellence Award for their superior efforts. This Project will receive the top recognition crystal award, two dinner tickets to the award ceremony, a submission to a local publication and the option to submit the Project to PMI Global for their 2011 Project of the Year Award.
