Using this knowledge, if evaluated and developed in terms of judgment and error, provide excellent examples of mistakes (risks) that should not be repeated and models of good risk management judgment. Use of Lessons Learned can demonstrate how the same or similar mistakes (risks) have lead to repeated failures. But these Lessons Learned can also have a dual value by providing a guide for improving your risk management process by using them to understand the common pitfalls in an existing process.
